. HID advantages :
a、High level of color temperature comfort：HID sends light of around 6000k color temperature which is close to daylight and human eyes have the highest degree of acceptance and comfort with this light. Such lighting used in vehicle, can reduce the driver's visual fatigue effectively, and improve the driving security directly.
b、Long life span：halogen light is from the tungsten wire and tungsten wire is easy to sublimate. Since there's no tungsten wire inside the hid bulb, there is a tungsten filament fracture problem, so hid life can be up to around 2000- 3000 hours.
c、Easy installation：just need to connect the headlamp power to the ballast input and connect and fix the lamp (the base of hid lamp is the same as halogen lamp). No need to change the original parts of the car.
d、High brightness：35w hid bulb can produce 2600-3200 lumens of light, the equivalent of 2-3 times of ordinary 55- 65W halogen brightness, while driving a broad line of sight, obstacles to see very clearly
.HID working principle:
Auto HID xenon lamp is different from traditional halogen lamp, which is a high-pressure discharge lamp. Its light-emi tting principle is to use positive and negative electricity to stimulate the chemical reaction of rare metal and xenon li ght, so there is a small glass ball inside the bulb tube which is filled with xenon gas and a little rare metal. As long as electric current is used to stimulate them into a chemical reaction, the two will send out up to 4000K-12000K color temperature of light. The special ballast uses the 12v car electricity to generate 23000V trigger voltage to light the bulb. When starting, the brightness of 0.8 second is 20% of the rated brightness, to the brightness of halogen lamps, and makes the headlight to reach more than 80% of the rated brightness with 4 seconds. After the light is stable, the ballast provides about 80V to maintain constant lamp power operation.
